Dimensional Double Shift: Update 1.7 Now Live, The One About Solo Players
The dimensional winds are shifting again, and this update is packing more surprises than a mislabeled freezer crate. Our brand-new Solo Player *Experiment*, giving you a whole new way to clock in on your own terms. And just when things start to cool off… our winter event returns better than ever with Snow-vertime. But more on that next week.
Oh! And weekend B.O.O.S.T.E.R.S. are getting their glow-up time to shine. All the while being cross-play compatible with Dimensional Double Shift’s official launch on Android XR. Buckle up, Shifters, here’s what’s new:

Android XR Cross-play
Players on Android XR devices can now join the fray and take on Shifts with their Meta Quest co-workers! More friends, more stations, more delightful dimensional disasters.

Shift solo at your own pace with a streamlined single-player experience. No partner, no pressure; just you, your tasks, and the chaos you choose to create.
This is our first technical test for single-player, something a lot of players have been asking for. Much like our matchmaking tech test as we careen our way out of Early Access, your feedback will be crucial. New B.O.O.S.T.E.R.S
New B.O.O.S.T.E.R.S for the weekend have been added, starting with Midas Touch! Shift on in to our Discord for a first look at each of the four new weekend events as they rollout. As Conglomni Corp always says: patience is a virtue. Please bring your own patience.
For an updated list of all of the known issues within Dimensional Double Shift, make sure you keep an eye out on our community Trello board for real-time updates. As of right now, here’s what’s being added:
Known Issues:
Players may briefly see an “Internet Reachable, Connecting” screen before returning to the Login room. The issue should resolve itself after a few moments.
Players may see Garage modules appear to be sunken into the vehicle.
Workaround: Give up the current shift and start a new one to resolve while the team continues working on a fix.
In the event that hand-tracking is lost, objects may temporarily turn all-black.
