Our Goal

At Owlchemy Labs, we believe deeply in making VR for everyone! Improving our accessibility helps us achieve that goal.

In an ongoing effort to ensure we accommodate a variety of players, we work continually on improving the game experience by designing with accessibility in mind during and after development.

Our Efforts

We strive to be a leader of Accessibility in VR. We follow best practices for designing inclusively using XR Association’s XR Primer 2.0 and Developers Guide.

While every Owl works with accessibility in mind and incorporates best practices during development, we also have a team dedicated specifically to Accessibility in our organization. Their work includes research, development, and engaging with people with disabilities to help us meet our goals.

Some efforts we want to highlight include:

  • Subtitles

  • One handed gameplay

  • Playable while seated with the options to make yourself bigger and adjust the heights of tables in a space.
