Dimensional Double Shift’s Big Winter Update Is Here: Our First Solo Player Experiment, New B.O.O.S.T.E.R.S., and Something Festive This Way Comes…

Bundle up, employees, Gas N’ Grill HQ just dropped its biggest winter update yet, and this shift is packed. Now that Dimensional Double Shift is officially on Galaxy XR through the Google Play Store and is cross play compatible with Meta Quest players, we decided it was time to shake things up a bit for our OG players. We’re rolling out our first-ever technical test for solo play, adding four brand-new BOOSTERS to supercharge your productivity (or destroy it, depending on how you use them), and giving you a mysterious early whisper of something ❄️festive❄️shuffling back into the station next week…

Let’s clock in.

Solo Practice *Experiment*: A New Way To Train

For the first time ever, Dimensional Double Shift employees can jump into Solo Practice *Experiment*, an experimental new mode built to help first-timers get those virtual feet wet before leaping into full-tilt co-op chaos.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • A Warm Welcome for New Hires

    • Solo Practice offers a pared-down version of the DDS Diner shift; perfect for learning the basics of Gas N’ Grill without worrying about letting down a coworker… or launching an entire workstation out the window.

  • Designed for First-Timer:

    • Ease in at your own pace, learn Owlchemy Labs's hand-tracking interactions, and get comfy before experiencing the frantic joy of your first real shift with friends.

  • Still Very Much DDS

    • ALICE is still monitoring your “progress.” Yes, she sees everything. No, she won’t stop commenting.

  • Fully Experimental & Feedback-Friendly

    • This test helps Owlchemy gather insights on how new players interact with DDS systems and your feedback in our Discord will directly shape future iterations of Solo Practice and what Dimensional Double Shift looks like in the future regarding team and single-player play.

  • Accessibility, Always

    • This mode continues our commitment to onboarding that feels intuitive, inclusive, and less intimidating for brand-new VR Shifters.

If you’re a new hire, a curious returner, or just someone who wants to practice without unnecessary combustion, Solo Practice *Experiment* is your new happy place.

New B.O.O.S.T.E.R.S: Increasing Productivity (Or At Least We Here At Conglomni Corp Think So)

Conrad Glomni demanded “more ways to optimize worker output,” so R&D cooked up four fresh B.O.O.S.T.E.R.S that absolutely, definitely, probably comply with corporate safety guidelines. For our first weekend of new gameplay shenanigans: an opportunity too golden to pass up.

MIDAS TOUCH
Congratulations! Every object you touch now turns into gold. Is it helpful? Is it financially irresponsible? Is the Diner now 900% heavier? Don’t worry about it, the stock projections look great.

There are three more on the way, but we want to have some surprises for you all, so you’ll have to tune into our socials or join our Discord to see what other weekend funtivities arrive over the coming weeks.

Jump in, test them out, and tell us what’s breaking… uh, we mean “what’s performing.”

SOMETHING FESTIVE THIS WAY COMES…

Employees may feel a chill in the air. A ring-a-ling-ling chill. A festive chill, if you will.

Let’s just say a certain seasonal celebration is bursting onto the ‘ol work schedule. Snowflakes may or may not already be forming in the vents. Rewards are possibly awaiting on the horizon. ALICE may or may not be monitoring “cheer levels.”

You’ll want to keep your schedule clear.

Before you bundle up for Snow-vertime Fest next week, there’s one more stop worth making on your dimensional commute: New Joysey. Our latest reality splice is now open for business on Meta Quest and Android XR for just $4.99. Perfect for employees who like their shifts with a side of grease, grit, and questionable interstate laws.

So grab your headset, punch in, and take a detour through our newest dimension. Trust us: the locals are friendly…-ish.
