Dimensional Double Shift: Update 1.8 Now Live, The One About Flaming Pizzas

Welcome Valued Shifters!

A new year has arrived in Dimensional Double Shift, which per Conglomni Corp policy means additional shifts have been generously made available. In our ongoing commitment to “employee satisfaction” and uninterrupted productivity, several high-priority concerns identified by ALICE have been efficiently neutralized.

These optimizations include ensuring no Shifter is accidentally deprived of their Unicorn Horn B.O.O.S.T.E.R, correcting certain creatively interpreted titles, and after extensive internal review, we’re happy to confirm that New Joysey residents may once again acquire pizza and calzones without incident at the diner.

General

B.O.O.S.T.E.R.S.

  • Don’t Lose Your Unicorn Horn! When a player is disconnected you no longer have to worry about losing your horn or getting to finish your shift! 

Dimension & Location Specific Fixes

New Joysey

GARAGE: 

  • Electric Cables catching fire will no longer halt completion of electric charging any modules in the New Joysey Garage

  • The Golden Firework will now shine bright like a diam-... something gold

DINER 

  • Players will no longer feel the burn when grabbing the Pizza in the Pizza Oven, the Pizza will no longer fall into the oven once the dough is cooked

    • We said we wanted more jazz hands, not “flame-y, hot-hot-hot” hands. That’s for the weekend. Obviously

  • “I swear I put the Calzone in normally!” players will no longer see the Calzone be off-center on the Calzone Press after cooking the dough

Miscellaneous 

  • No longer lose visibility on your beautiful rings while wearing fingerless gloves, because you can’t might food crimes if you ain’t cute 

  • What’s a gear? No need to find out. Toadtorials no longer lock on gears

  • Don’t forget about the party, we fixed the UI text on the “Party” menu so that the text follows the bubbles

  • Players will now be able to track which Avatar Collection they are on as the numbers text now follows the movement of the button

  • Treeattelites in Treeattle will no longer forget to say their “thanks” for fixing up their car, just because players interrupted them talking by doing their…job

  • Invisible hand bug after loading into the first time player experience is resolved. See those hands. Love those hands

  • For new players, the “Join” highlight will now disappear once the room has been joined
