You Asked. We Listened. Single Player Is Coming to Dimensional Double Shift!

Not every shift comes with a full crew, and honestly? We’ve heard you.

Since Dimensional Double Shift launched, our owlcredible community has been very clear that sometimes you want to clock in without having to assemble an entire workforce first. You’ve told us in Discord, on Reddit, across social, and pretty much anywhere else you can find us that you’d love another way to experience DDS on your own terms.

And we’ve been listening.

That’s why we’re excited to finally tease Single Player Mode, coming to Dimensional Double Shift in the first half of 2027.

Built With You

Single Player Mode is a little different from some of the other things we’ve added to DDS because, in a very real way, you helped build it.

The conversations happening around this game have always been a huge part of how we think about where it can go next. We see the requests, the suggestions, the incredibly specific use cases, the “okay hear me out” posts, and yes, even the occasional essay explaining exactly why you should let someone play the entire game alone while making increasingly questionable choices in Sporelando.

We’re listening to all of it.

Single Player is one of those moments where that feedback gets to become something tangible. We’re working on a way for you to jump into a shift, learn the ropes, experiment with strategies, or simply cause dimensional workplace chaos at your own pace, without needing to coordinate schedules with anyone else.

Of course, Conglomni Corp would never leave you completely unsupervised. That would be irresponsible.

So you’ll have some new coworkers along for the ride: T.E.M.P.s, or Totally Expendable Multi-dimensional Personnel. They’re here to help keep the operation moving, and we’re pretty sure they’re qualified.

Probably.

We’ll have much more to share about them, and about Single Player Mode, later this year.

For now, we just wanted to say thank you. This feature exists because you kept talking to us, giving us feedback, and telling us what would make Dimensional Double Shift better for you.

That makes this one a community win, and we’re pretty excited to finally share what you helped us make

Until then, keep the feedback coming.

We’re listening.

ALICE is listening too.

We’re slightly more concerned about that one.
