Announcing New Leadership at Owlchemy Labs
Today, after an amazing 12 year run as a founder and most recently CEOwl, Devin Reimer has announced his departure from Owlchemy Labs. Chief Operating Owl (COOwl), Andrew Eiche, will step into the Chief Executive Owl (CEOwl) role starting on March 3, 2023.
Devin will be moving on to new challenges, including work on philanthropic opportunities outside of Owlchemy Labs. Under Reimer’s leadership, Owlchemy has achieved massive success and grown from a two person company to a 50+ staff studio. Throughout his tenure, Reimer has led Owlchemy to become one of the first commercially successful VR companies in the world. His achievements include numerous awards, developing and launching the sensational multi-platinum Job Simulator, and shepherding the company through its 2017 acquisition by Google.
Devin wanted to share a few thoughts about his time at Owlchemy:
What a journey! Owlchemy started out making small mobile games, pivoted to VR, built ground breaking games, got acquired by Google, and grew to a 50+ person studio! I consider myself so fortunate to have worked with such talented people throughout Owlchemy history to make this dream a reality.
I’ve been lucky to have Andrew as COOwl over the past 5 years, as a wonderful partner and great friend. I know he will do a great job continuing to push Owlchemy forward into the future.
I will miss Owlchemy immensely and I’m so excited to see what Owlchemy does next!
Thank you so much Devin, for your vision, leadership and expertise. You will be missed!
