Dimensional Double Shift: Update 1.11, The One Ringing In Sporelando

ALICE and Conglomni Corp have conducted a highly scientific investigation into “things behaving incorrectly” alongside the launch of the marshy lands of Sporelando and are pleased to report that reality has been adjusted accordingly. Please do not be alarmed if things now behave… better. This is intentional.

Conrad Glomni would like to remind all Workers that bugs are not a feature unless we say they are.

General Improvements That Make You Look Very Efficient

New Role Icons Across All Dimensions

  • Finding your purpose in the multiverse just got easier. We’ve added unique role icons for every role in every dimension when selecting your next shift from the Shift Console.

    • No more guessing, only slightly less chaos.

Fixes That Definitely Always Worked This Way

Event and Matchmaking

  • The Add Friend and Exit Experiment buttons have returned after finishing a shift. They were not on break. They were “strategically absent.”

  • The Exit Experiment button has been resized to something visible to the human eye.

New Joysey Diner

  • Items will no longer respawn twice when removed from the Butcher Freezer. One item per item, as ALICE intended. 

Audio

  • Bonking ALICE will no longer echo across the entire dimension at full volume. While amusing, this was deemed “a lot.”

Hexas Garage and Items

  • Pouring hot sauce on a match stick will no longer create an eternal flame that refuses to ignite anything. Science has been restored.

  • The brain in the garage will now respawn correctly if dropped under the car. Please stop losing it under there.

All Dimensions Diner

  • Players being recognized as ingredients in Wild Card orders is now… acceptable. Orders can now be completed with the player included as an ingredient.

Conglomni Corp sees no issue with this.

Hexas Diner

  • Brisket will no longer float mysteriously inside the freezer. It has agreed to obey gravity moving forward.

Known Issues That Build Character

  • The final image on the Teed Off module may show a red X instead of a green checkmark upon completion. This does not mean failure. It simply means the system is feeling expressive.
